ALYSA® Solutions 

Test System for Simulation, Incremental Integration, Validation, Certification and Digital Twin platform

ALYSA is a solution for the development and test of simple or complex equipment. ALYSA provides the ability to model system functionalities, perform all integration and validation tests for fast, safe and secure commissioning.


Applied to a signalling system, ALYSA simulates on-board or ground equipment (Model in The Loop) and interfaces with real equipment (Hardware In The Loop) to validate the complete operation of a transport line.


With ALYSA, the behaviour, performance and most safety-related issues of transport systems can be tested in laboratory. ALYSA significantly reduces the time and cost of modifying existing lines or deploying new ones.


ALYSA suits system integration and testing throughout the development cycle:

CONVERGY® Solutions

Railway Power Supply & Conversion from few watts to hundreds kilowatts

With 60 years of experience in the design, manufacture and support of high reliability converters, HENSOLDT, through its CONVERGY brand, provides the railway industry with a wide range of power conversion products: AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, battery rectifiers/chargers...


HENSOLDT's solutions use the latest electronic component technologies on the market (MOS, Sic), with power ratings ranging from 10W to 45KW.

Our Portfolio of solutions addresses both in-vehicle safety systems (computers, metro driving assistance, etc.) and passenger comfort equipment (lighting, power supply for electronic devices, etc.).


HENSOLDT also offers support and services throughout the life cycle of its own and third-party systems: repair, maintenance, obsolescence management, refurbishment and reverse engineering of systems.

Test Solutions 

Through its Canadian subsidiary, HENSOLDT provides the railway industry with a range of turnkey and customised solutions for testing components, cabinets and sub-assemblies.


HENSOLDT’s testers range from compact all-in-one testers to modular and versatile high-capacity test systems. They are intended for cable and harness testing, functional testing, validation of electrical interconnection systems, fault finding and cable integrity monitoring.


HENSOLDT solutions are used for a variety of applications in the railway sector such as production verification, assembly, end-of-line testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.



These solutions incorporate customisable applications to perfectly fit the operator's environment. They are modular to meet current needs and can be expanded over time to meet future customer requirements. 

SIMSPHERE® Simulation Suite

Training simulators up to true-to-life replication

HENSOLDT offers SIMSPHERE Simulation Suite, a powerful product framework for process simulation in various environments.



The applications range from a comprehensive spectrum of operator and maintenance training simulators up to true-to-life replication for equipment simulation in system environment.  The common basis is a real-time simulation data exchange framework.


SIMSPHERE Train is a product family for train driver training. It offers a total immersion in the simulated scenario, and enables:


  • Learning the fundamentals of driving techniques as well as practice under normal and special conditions.
  • Practising the correct handling of on-board systems in various situations (e.g. brake handling).
  • Familiarisation with driving in adverse conditions and dealing with malfunctions and operational procedures, even in dangerous situations.
  • Computer-assisted evaluation of training results

R&D Project: HENSOLDT participates in the European project OPTIMA 

Communication Platform for Traffic Management Demonstrator


The objective of the OPTIMA Project is to design and develop a Communication Platform to manage different services (multimodal operational systems) that support TMS (traffic management system) applications.



HENSOLDT contributes in OPTIMA as work package leader for the design and the development of the Integration Layer Solution. HENSOLDT brings 30 years of experience in data-centric middleware for the development of simulation and system integration platforms.
