As the leading international trade fair for rail transport technology, InnoTrans will present the future of mobility from 20 - 23 September 2022: from the most modern high-speed train to the intermodal app. At the 2018 show, 3,000 exhibitors from 60 countries displayed their railway technology innovations at the well-booked exhibition grounds in Berlin. The track and outdoor area is unique with 3,500 running metres of track with exhibitors such as Alstom, Stadler, Siemens Mobility and Deutsche Bahn. Exhibitors will present over 100 exhibits on the track and open-air site, including some world firsts. The offerings range from suburban railway of the future and hydrogen trains to grinding machines.

In addition to rail transport technology, InnoTrans has developed into a global mobility platform where exhibitors show their innovations for the transport revolution. For example, in the Public Transport segment there will be a thematically focused Mobility+ exhibition area for the first time with exhibitors such as Clever Shuttle, ioki, Mobimeo and Optibus. Here, providers of complementary mobility services meet national and international transport companies, transport associations and administrations and show the industry their cross-modal concepts and systems.

The importance of putting passengers at the centre of rail travel is also demonstrated by the 20 or so exhibitors in the Travel Catering & Comfort Services section. A special themed route highlights the participating exhibitors: footprints on the hall floor, symbols in the hall plans, the InnoTrans app and the flyer for the route show the way.

At the accompanying InnoTrans Convention, participants can find out about all the developments in the industry: live on site or live in a stream. The focus will be on the Dialogue Forums every day from 21-23.09. Topics include the automation of rail transport and 5 Gs in mobility. The Rail Leaders' Summit on 20 September at the palais.Berlin with transport ministers and general managers of international transport companies will look at the pioneering role of rail transport. In addition, the first Hyperloop Conference will take place on 23 September as part of the Conference Corner with a variety of formats on the ultra-high-speed transport of tomorrow.
