Sustainable since 1905
As a supplier to the rail vehicle industry, we take a long-term and future-orientated approach to everything we do. Our product developments are prepared with foresight to ensure decades of use. The products have a long service life and can usually be repaired if necessary. Moreover, in the event of certain components being discontinued, we endeavour to keep the device alive using replacements on a "form-fit-function" basis, without having to replace the product altogether. In line with our proactive obsolescence management strategy, we stockpile components to support our customers' long-term delivery commitments.
Sustainability is also a common thread that runs through our company history. DEUTA has been guided by the founding Rensch family since 1905. The company focuses on long-term corporate success, successful climate protection while meeting climate targets, and a self-image based on social responsibility and future-orientated action.

D-EcoView® - Sustainability in Focus
D-EcoView® High performance, low power consumption and long-term availability are the three goals we have combined to make the D-EcoView® . The IMX8X quad core A35 processor with 64 bit is synonymous with high performance, long-term availability but with a 30% lower power consumption in comparance with Intel ATOM or AMD Fusion and groundbreaking security features. The D-EcoView® is designed as modular system. Inside the D-EcoView® , the ARM mainboard forms the basis for a wide range of terminal variants. The position of the interfaces remains the same on every terminals size. D-EcoView® Trust The D-EcoView® Trust Terminals are optionally available with the safety functions IconTrust® and SelectTrust®.
D-PowerView® - High Performance Displays
D-PowerView®
In the D-PowerView® , the x64Intel Elkhart Lake delivers the performance required for demanding applications. Its 8 GB RAM memory capacity delivers sufficient future-proofing.

DEUTA Wide Terminals - Everything at a glance!
More Space for your Information
DEUTA Wide Terminals feature the compact installation dimensions of a 10” housing combined with a 12.1” display. The optically bonded surface offers space to display travel and vehicle data in parallel. The Wide Terminals are optionally available with the IconTrust® and SelectTrust® safety functions to ensure secure display and input.
Depending on your requirements, the high-performance Intel Quad Core Elkhart Lake x64 or the sustainable IMX8X Quad Core A35 64-bit processors are available.
DEUTA Head-Up Display - With IconTrust® DMI Safety
Important travel data at a glance
Head-Up Displays are state-of-the-art-technology in automotive and aviation. DEUTA developed a Head-Up Display solution for railway vehicles, presenting forward travel information from the driver machine instruments onto a combiner display in front of the vehicle windshield upgraded with IconTrust® safety up to SIL2.
One generic HUD platform for all railway projects
Finding the best Head-Up Display position - even in narrow installation spaces is a complex challenge in new and refurbishment railway vehicle projects. DEUTA designed a generic HUD platform, combining flexible installation options, advanced safety and more operating and driving comfort in a compact spacesaving design. The Head-Up Display architecture fits even in narrow drivers desks.
Improvement of safety
The most important information are mirrored parallel at the Head-Up Display combiner surface. The driver keeps continuously the visual axis between the HeadUp Display and the track. The Multifunctional Terminal communicates via the vehicle computer and generates the information for the Head-Up Display without changing the vehicle architecture.
HUD & IconTrust® = SIL2
In combination with an IconTrust® Multifunctional Terminal the DEUTA Head-Up Display can reach a safety level up to SIL2. IconTrust® monitors dedicated areas on the TFT panel and differentiates between safety related and non-safety related information.
Each of the individual areas of the displayed image are analysed and compared to the value of the respective input variable during every image refresh cycle in IconTrust®.
D-SelectTrust Panel - Simply safe HMIs
Digital, flexible and safe switchboards – up to SIL3
D-SelectTrust Panel is an HMI based on a brilliant TFT screen. Indicator lights and pushbuttons can be configured via a web browser in a very short time – and adapted to meet the needs of specific projects in a variety of ways. Time- and cost-intensive work steps for project changes are not necessary. The new operating units are reconfigured remotely on the HMI.
Flexible HMIs for safe applications
The D-SelectTrust Panel offers up to 20 display or input fields – comparable to lights and pushbuttons on switchboards. The fields are laid out in the form of a (configurable) grid.
For the operator, the fields are clear and easy to read and understand by means of text, icons or graphics as well as colours. A configurable background image allows the assignment of the display and input fields to system components to be intuitively understood by the operator.
For supplementary, non-safety related information (e.g. historical values, progress curves or work instructions), an optional “web view” is available, which is displayed alongside the fields. Changes to the HMI can be implemented quickly and easily in all project phases.
Configuration using a web browser
The fields displayed on the HMI can be easily and flexibly edited via a web interface. This shows a live preview of the HMI configuration centered on the screen. A preview directly on the D-SelectTrust Panel is also possible at any time. This allows all of the individual fields’ properties, together with global settings – such as field size and spacing – and grid alignment to be easily customised.
A safe HMI interface in 3 steps
1. Design The user positions the desired buttons on the interface. Text or graphic symbols as well as colour can be freely selected for each field.
2. Transfer and Generate The data are transferred from the browser to the D-SelectTrust Panel. An IconTrust® configuration with an associated report is generated, which can be used for verification and documentation.
3. Integrate All of the D-SelectTrust Panel fields are now connected to the safety controller via PROFIsafe. The D-SelectTrust Panel can be integrated into the safety infrastructure
DEUTA RedCloud® - Processing, Analyzing, Planning
DEUTA RedCloud®
DEUTA RedCloud® is a cloud-based software solution for real time acquisition, processing and analysis of event recorder and sensor data, improving efficiency of railway operations, proving compliance and supporting maintenance activities.
Our approach
We use Lean Product development with human-centred Design Thinking to develop our solution. We partner with potential customers to understand their goals, challenges, problems and pain points. We immerse ourselves in the world of our customers and users. We test user interactions using prototypes. We iteratively develop the solution, continuously testing after each iteration. This ensures we address our customer’s most important problems and our solutions are intuitive and fit into existing workflows.
Your evaluation - and fleet data at a glance
The goal of DEUTA RedCloud® is to provide a fleet-level view by aggregating data from multiple trains and subsystems. This would provide insights into train use, operations and maintenance activities, which can improve uptime, reliability, safety and reduce cost. The innovative user interface of the DEUTA RedCloud® presents all data clearly at a glance: speed, analogue and digital tracks and train control data are displayed at the same time.
